• Dr. Naomi Bauman is a Child Psychologist and School Psychologist. Dr. Bauman has experience working with children, adolescents, and families with a broad range of behavioral and emotional challenges. She has specific experience and training in CBT and psychoeducational assessment, as well as in the treatment of anxiety, OCD, depression, and behavioral challenges in children and adolescents.

• Dr. Bauman has a special interest and advanced training in parent-based treatments for behavior and anxiety disorders in children/adolescents. Dr. Bauman is a certified PCIT therapist and a certified Kazdin Parent Management Training therapist (KPMT). Dr.Bauman has trained in SPACE treatment as well. 

 

• Prior to founding the Child Thrive Center, Dr. Bauman worked for two years at My OCD Care where she gained additional experience in the treatment of children and adolescents with OCD and related disorders. Dr. Bauman completed her post-doctoral training in child clinical psychology at Scarsdale Village CBT and worked for two years as a School Psychologist for the Great Neck Public Schools. She has a PsyD and Master of Science in School-Community Psychology from Hofstra University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Yeshiva University. Naomi completed her predoctoral internship at Interborough Developmental & Consultation Center in Brooklyn, NY and at the Great Neck Public Schools.
